Apart is what happens
It is not fair.
Like when you don't get to go to the fair.
Slicing a half.
And not returning a whole.
This is not a joke.
I need to soak.
This in brew.
To mellow out my pain.
Before all of this makes me insane.
Life is short.
But should not be spent apart.
I called today.
And you answered so sad.
But you were not mad.
But the pain.
Of me not being there.
Have drawn me to a stare.
I write.
And you bite.
