Poem: Connect the Heart

Though feelings are mixed and life is a struggle
But a single thread remains the same
Strands of diamond woven together
The strand is unbreakable

The strand is a lasso around our hearts
It keeps us always within minds reach
It keeps our balance when life starts to fall
It keeps our gravity centered around each other

I pull this strand every so often
To make sure it is nice and tight
And you are but a moments reach away
And always with me in my heart.
