Poem: What Fall Says

Listen and Hear What Fall Says

Atlanta Page
I hear the whisper of the wind say,
"fall is near."
I yearn to hear this sound,
every year.

As I watch leaves falling,
to the ground,
a sense of nostalgic dreaming,
in my heart abounds.

As a cool breeze warns me,
of summers end,
all I want to do is be,
just be as the wind.

Free to dream without constraints,
of life and responsibilities.
To be free leaving behind every complaint,
that comprises most miseries.

This feeling that fall brings,
is a happy one.
It makes my heart sing,
and give thanks to the son.
