Poem: Filled with Grace

Masterless Rhetoric

H. Kris Thomas
Their words walk without them
Masterless rhetoric
Taken flight
Feigned sincerity unraveled by angry current
And torn apart by wind

Remain strong
Offer thanks for the gracious plenty
Carried in-hand and in-mind
The gracious sincerity written on visible breath

Eat up the fruit of the monstropolous, ancient love tree
It'll kill the hungry that the soured hearts fight to satisfy
When they trip up the sweet spirited and try to make a feast of their tears

I am checking in with all my friends before I leave again for 4 days! Between hospital runs south and my travel plans I have been away far too much. My iPod Touch doesn't allow me to post comments but I can read...and with long hours in the hospital (thank goodness for free Wifi) reading AC articles and lovely poetry keeps me sane!!
