POEM: Hard to Let You Go

But, I can't go with the flow.

I saw you today.

It felt like friday.

But, it was Saturday.

It's good to have a new year.

And, have no tears.

I miss you a lot.

And, I have not forgot.

How you hugged me.

And, told me you loved me.

I like those words you said.

And, they made me feel so good.

I have that well understood.

I know you will call me tonight.

So, I can tell you goodnight.

I hope I see you next week.

I will not even blink.
