Poem: Memories of the Sun

H. Kris Thomas
You are both hot and cold
And those spaces of infinity dwelling between
You breach the cordoned off barriers of my placid reality
You are the sun
Scorching my brow
The tall mountains of ice that chill my red hot fury
A cool wave
Tall and swift moving
And breaking over me

Another "hot" poem. Love the photo. This sun is making me want to sit in the tide.
