Poem: Sing This Body

H. Kris Thomas
Hands over eyes
A giggle sings in this body
Like a sweet chorus

Broad smile stretches across this face
That was once marred by sullen expression.
This sad face easily sacrificed for happy eyes

Once more, I say
Knowing that once more will not be enough
Happy, greedy me
Asking for more playful touches
For more thrilling tangled-body-moments
