Poem: My Sleeping Foot

Jessica H
My foot has been put to sleep
I beg it wake, for I won't weep
I really need to drive my jeep
But how can I, when my foot still sleeps?

I cannot drive until it wakes
And now it really frustrates
For I do not like all the aches
The feeling is the teeth of snakes

My foot must wake up today
For I wish to go out and play
My jeep will not be okay
Unless it gets driven everyday

Oh why, oh why has it chose me
I beg and beg and plea and plea
That it will leave, and finally see
That my foot is not the one for thee
