POEM: Waste Time
Why did you waste my time?
And, acted like everything was fine.
Why did you not tell me there was no love.
Instead you filled my head with stuff.
Months, and days went by.
And, you did not even tell me why.
You could have told me.
Instead you said that you believed in God.
And, you believed in this verse.
"I shall not lie."
And, that's what you did.
Why did you waste my time.
I met your face every week.
I sure was weak.
I found out the world is as big as your head.
That needs to be checked.
I wasted my time.
But, I will not hide.
