The air crackles
the wind nips
and the snow crunches
beneath your feet
the wind nips
and the snow crunches
beneath your feet
Hills of packed snow
start to rise
as the white water
keeps on falling
Whiteness covers
everything
not caring whether
or not you're cold
When you reach home
you relish
the warmth of the fire
as you thaw out.
