No Black Veil

Tears were cried
Heads were down
Prays said
Goodbye.

No black veil,
None will I wear
No hiding my tears
Goodbye.

My eyes are cloudy
No black veil
I will not hide
Not going to wear it

No black veil
Not for me

    I wouldn't agree with "depressing". I think that, although the speaker is crying, she is also in touch with her own identity - there's something uplifting about that.

    also, I think you may have a typo in the third line.
