Poetry: Children

Children are the world's best chance at learning how to think the simple child like way. It's not real hard to see that children don't want to take all of the world's problems and place them on their shoulders to bear. They just want to color, play, and have a pillow fight. They know in the end a little laughter will help things turn out more than alright.

Why! why? Is what children always say. They want people to listen to them and stop fighting. They know then and only then will their pain go away.

The world needs to have the smiles of children that never want to harden. They are miracle angels that want to heal you with their magical touch. They love to hug you and kiss you and tell you good night. They want you to tell them that the world will be less frightful when the world learns to sing their songs of wonder and joy.

God's blessed children are simply that. They're a blessing just waiting to fill the world's air with tranquility and peace. Peace that passes each soul that they touch. You'll know this feeling as soon as you've been touched, by the hand that made them and placed them in your care.

Love is all about children and about God's spreading news that the world's answers may be as simple as what is between their thoughts and lips. They want to teach the world to sing their songs about tomorrow. Then tomorrow will be war forgotten and then much joy will be able to be held and embraced.

Give children the right to be heard and then watch the world grow stronger with each and every person that takes their hearts and listens to their songs. The song is all about you and me. Let's just help these little children and sit down and really listen, maybe by starting out with sharing a simple cup of tea
