Grief is the emotion right
beside the newcoming spirit.
A heart once filled with grief
can never see relief,
until the two ends meet.
Love verses hate,
allowing both emotions
to feel each tender,
yet frail thoughts.
For without allowing grief,
to feel what it must,
Grief can't be erased and reborn to trust

Post a CommentBeautifully penned!
So beautifully poignant. I love the flow of these words. Many of us may share different views perhaps in light of what we believe in...myself a more spiritual view but also share a connection in understanding pain, and pulling in the better (lit) emotions. Sometimes it can be difficult to deal in grief/loss/pain but it does however help us to see the better more clearly. Lovely words
Ohhh, very nice.
You get it right. Good poem.
Great poem.
Great poem Jenny!
Well done, you can't move on until you go through the cycle of grief.
At the end of July, I was able to slack a little bit, but come August, I must really knuckle down (http://bit.ly/bbUxTI) and get down to brass tacks (looks like one I need to do!) when it comes to writing - as always, still reading, but quick comments!
Great, Jenny!!
Excellent... :o)
