Poetry: Learning
Learning is an option just waiting to behold us.
Days go by as fast as the wind blows on a strong wintery day.
It wants us to stop and catch the wind that seems to chill us to the bone.
It wants us to take life lessons and learn from it well.
Learning is all about each person's will,
to dare to share about our humblest of ways.
It's there for the grasping,
if one will dare to grab hold.
It's waiting with a nudge that'll lead us to be strong,
A new day is beginning,
that'll send us a sign,
that learning is a choice, and the choice is all mine

Learning is so much fun, and you're right – it is a choice. Some people are happy with what they know. Others can't ever know enough and seek wisdom and knowledge in every breathing moment.
