Poetry: Sorrow

Jenny Heart
Sorrowing eyes can't seem to stop wandering about why this world is so stone cold.

It doesn't make sense that one must not even try to understand a person's whys.

Isn't it simple? Does the answer have to be written high up in the sky?

Does nobody care about the misery another is in?

Or is this world truly about what is in it for them?

Can there be someone out there that cares

about their fellow man?

Is it fair when a man goes blind

or a wife becomes a widow?

That's where God comes in.

He carries us in his arms and holds our tears in a safety net.

Now! Everything will soon be alright.

God has all people in plain sight.

People need not feel full of fright.

God's sunlight will be shining through their morning glory windows,

Hallelujah it's a brand new day.

Jenny, it is so encouraging to know that God is their to comfort us and lead us along the way even in the midst of hard situations.

Love the ending by far my friend. So optimistic, even in sorrows and trials, we can look ahead to a fantastic eternal joy in Him.

Many people do not know what to say to a sad person, it is difficult to share sadness unless we know the situation. Love ya, Jenny!

I think people notice the sorrow of others; they just don't know how to deal with it.
