Time went before
Time came after
Never stopping
Forever moving
Time came after
Never stopping
Forever moving
We don't have a time machine
We can hope
We can wish
It will never be
Not in our time
Time is elusive
Leaving us behind
Not noticing
We are but specks
One day we will go
Time will be left
To continue its flow
I want more time
Where does it go
What does it see
Why won't time answer me?
