A weather seamstress clothed our world
in suits of white luminous snow.
She clad ev'ry tree, ev'ry house, ev'ry road
And fashioned about them a cold cloak of air,
draping and freezing her stitched seams of ice,
in fitting welcome to winter sovereign.
