Poets of the Night

John Sarkis
Poets of the night.
A slow movement of Mozart's pales in comparison to your music of the night.
What you are trying to compose is un-compose-able by any human.
What you are trying to say is un-said-able; yet many greats in music have to 'said it,' but have never even come close to you...poets of the night.

Poets of the night.
Virgil, in all of his glory failed to say in "The Aeneid" what you say to your mate/mates every night.
The language of humans is no language compared to yours.
Linguistics is a silly affair between humans in contrast to your singing.
Your singing makes us humans want to be your kind.

Poets of the night.
Michael Angelo was only a second rate painter in comparison to you.
You paint and furnish new homes for yourselves:--even after trees and Forrest have been destroyed.
Your love making makes humans' seem like the alphabet without vowels.
You lovely creatures of the night.
