When throwing a poker party, many people serve dishes similar to those they have at football parties. Greasy, fattening foods are O.K. to indulge in every once in a while, so why not go all out? Your guests will love it. Hungry poker players will enjoy these recipes:

Snacks:

7-layer dip

1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter. Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans. Top the layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions and lettuce over the salsa, and top with Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives. Serve with chips or a vegetable platter that is easy to reach over and grab while playing cards.

Drinks:

Beer 'n Limon

1 oz Bacardi® Limon Rum
1 Bottle Corona® Lager

Blending Instructions: Pour the beer into a frozen glass mug. Add Bacardi, stir, and serve

Black Cow

2 Scoops Vanilla Ice-cream

1 Tbsp Chocolate Syrup
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherry

Blending Instructions: Pour root beer over ice cream and chocolate syrup in a large tumbler glass. Garnish with whipped cream and a Maraschino cherry. Serve with a straw and a long spoon

Entrees:

Poker = Sandwiches. Poker players need to keep their hands clean so the cards won't get messy.

Put ingredients on toasted rye bread. Or try turkey, cheddar, and guacamole on thick white bread.
