Pole-Dancing Celebs: Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Kate Middleton and More

At her Thursday tour stop at the Bell Center in Montreal, Britney Spears gave Pauly D of "Jersey Shore" a sizzling public pole dance onstage. The "I Wanna Go" singer showed off her signature seductive moves in the brief dance; in doing so, she joined a long list of smokin' hot celebs who've expressed their sensuality through pole dance for fun or fitness.

Eva Longoria

Eva is taking pole dancing lessons at S Factor for an upcoming storyline in "Desperate Housewives." "It was so fun when Eva came in," said S Club founder Sheila Kelley. "All this scintillating sexuality came out of her -- her body was smiling!"

This isn't the first time Longoria has dabbled in pole dancing. She admitted that Carmen Electra gifted her with one of her signature home stripper poles one Valentine's Day, but things didn't go so well: "I set it up myself and it is supposed to fit any ceiling. I got on it to swing and whack -- I fell on the floor, so I never really got good at it."

Christina Applegate

A very pregnant Christina poked fun at her protruding belly in a Funny or Die video called "Prenatal Pole Dancing." The faux workout DVD promo featured the actress as Roxy Fedaro, a gyrating fitness instructor who's five months pregnant but more than willing to show off her sensuality.

Kate Middleton

Kate is royalty now, but that doesn't mean that she can't have a little good-natured naughty fun. She's rumored to have learned to pole dance in 2006 during a friend's bachelorette party. More recently, Pussycat Dolls member Kimberly Wyatt formally extended an offer to show the Duchess of Cambridge how to pole dance.

Kendra Wilkinson

She may have been eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars," but Kendra is no stranger to pole dancing. She's even got her own signature model called the Kendra Wilkinson Sport Pole. In a 2010 interview, the blonde bombshell said that she couldn't wait until Hank grew old enough so that she could show off her skills in front of him, gushing, "I think he's gonna love it! There's nothing like seeing your mom sexy and happy. Your babies will grow up happy if you're happy."

Miley Cyrus

Miley sparked a firestorm of controversy at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards during her performance of hit song "Party in the USA." At one point, the singer, who was 16 at the time, appeared to straddle a stripper pole that was mounted atop an ice-cream cart.

The Disney Channel was quick to issue a statement, which read in part, "Disney Channel won't be commenting on that performance, although parents can rest assured that all content presented on the Disney Channel is age-appropriate for our audience -- kids 6-14 -- and consistent with what our brand values are."

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer followed suit with a statement of her own to Parade magazine, saying, "I would do that pole dance a thousand times again, because it was right for the song and that performance. But, dude, if you think dancing on top of an ice-cream cart with a pole is bad, then go check what 90 percent of the high schoolers are really up to."

Carmen Electra

With multiple stints as a burlesque dancer, a line of striptease-themed fitness DVDs and her own home stripper pole kit, Carmen has plenty of pole dancing experience under her bejeweled belt. Although the Electra-Pole may have given Eva trouble when she tried it, Carmen's curvaceous yet toned figure is more than enough inspiration for fans to click the "Buy" button.

Kate Moss

Long before her marriage to Jamie Hince, Kate performed a sensual pole dance for the music video of "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself" by The White Stripes. The supermodel's rowdy practice sessions at home have even caused neighbors to complain to the police -- and to the media.
