Police Say Angela Eversole Sold Sex for Gas

Who is Angela Eversole? A 34-year-old Kentucky woman who is facing charges of prostitution. Local police say her client, Kenneth Nowack, offered her a $100 Speedway gas card and about 25 gallons of gas. Anthony Schaffner, Angela Eversole's boyfriend is denying the charge, claiming that Angela Eversole is definitely not a prostitute, according to WCPO-TV.

According to one source, police were hoping to catch a prostitute who was selling sex for money. They said they discovered that Angela Eversole was meeting at the Days Inn on Dixie Highway for illegal sex. She is also being charged with conducting business without an occupational license.

As gas prices continue to climb, many people find it difficult to make ends meet. That Angela Eversole allegedly found it necessary to sell her body for gas shows she was in legitimate need of help. Still, if true, that does not make it acceptable for persons to engage such activities. Prostitution is the oldest form of work known to man. Payment is normally taken in monetary form.
