Williams who was arrested, and was released from jail Friday, said he was manhandled and Tased by police, even though he said he was never physically aggressive toward the officers and didn't resist arrest.
Williams said he was humiliated after his pants fell down during the incident. The officers allegedly left him outdoors in broad daylight, handcuffed on the pavement, nude below the waist. Williams said the Sept. 11 arrest also left him with an injured shoulder, limiting his mobility in his wheelchair.
Neighbors who witnessed the police actions as well as video supports Williams claims that Officer Pinnegar of this illustrious Police Department unholstered his Taser, jammed it into his rib cage and shocked him twice. Williams said he fell from his chair onto his stomach on the ground outside his doorway. He was then turkey necked and handcuffed and left on a sidewalk outside, drawing quite a crowd which the police of course claimed were becoming threatening.
Gosh talk about stupid, cruel and without even a hint of professional behavior, a man with no legs is tasered and then thrown to the ground partially nude in front of a mob of people and the police claim it was justified when wittiness after wittiness say's otherwise, and oh by the way the video shows the police were lying as well.
The Merced Calif. Police Department and (shudder), Officer Pinnegar truly deserve the Moron Of The Week Award, way to go guys how proud your parents must be.
