Political Opinion of the Day #7

The Conservative Republican Short-Take Views: Vol. 7

C. L. Collins
This past week, Obama read to kids while the liberals in Congress read to no one - except to barking dog liberals who pawed at every level to gain bribes for their support of the healthcare bill most of the country doesn't want.

Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., has called the healthcare system we presently have a "holocaust in America" and was reprimanded by the Anti-Defamation league. On the House floor in regards to healthcare, that Republicans want sick people to die quickly. In an interview, he called a female adviser to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke a whore.

Just when you think his absurdness has come to the forefront, he decides to ask the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate a website that was launched by a Republican, Angie Langley that mocks his own re-election website. He wants to see her go to jail over the word "my" as if this is another what "is" is monopoly game - Maybe Rep. Grayson needs to step down from office before the Prozac jail team arrives.

So much for the pandemic of the H1N1 [Swine-flu] that it appears to be dying down and not as widespread, drug maker Medimmune has recalled nearly 5 million doses of the vaccine stating that the nasal spray appears to lose its potency over time. Is this a coincidence that Obama's lost honeymoon potency in the polls is running neck to neck with this vaccination problem?

One of the defense attorneys for the Army Psychiatrist, Major Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 U.S. soldiers and wounded dozens of others at Fort Hood, Texas, has filed a complaint that the Army will not allow his client, Major Nidal Hasan to pray in Arabic with his family. Sorry Major Hasan, I don't think anyone really cares except for Keith Olbermann of MSNBC.

Rumor has it that President Obama has begun work on his next State of the Union address but still no word on when he will begin work on the economy or the creation of jobs. But one must give credit where credit is due when Obama during his campaign stated, "Just words, just speeches. " - At least he kept one promise.

I stated earlier that at least Obama has kept one promise and just when I felt that is all he has accomplished, he goes and out does himself and actually kept one more promise. Obama stated during his election campaign that he would bring people together - well he did, the country is now more together in opposing his one-trick pony promise to bring nationalized healthcare to this nation - that's an accomplishment all by itself.

Obama stated, "Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation - at least, not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers." Obama has lived up to his non-Christian values by displaying a Christmas ornament featuring Mao Zedong; another ornament with a drag queen, Hedda Lettuce and then to top it all off, one that pictured his face on Mount Rushmore.

The global warming alarmists are now playing hide and seek. It seems that a British scientist and a Wikipedia administrator decided the truth needed to be hid, so they decided to edit more than 5,000 articles in the on-line encyclopedia to edit any traces of previous warming periods. Sorry kids, there is a reason why professors at colleges and universities do not view Wikipedia as a reliable source of information.

Ben Nelson, the Democrat from Oregon has now begun attacking Pro-Life Advocates because of his pro-abortion-bought-off-bribe compromise in allowing some abortion provision to remain in the Democrat Senate healthcare bill. The sanctity of life means very little to most Democrats as long as someone else is paying for the death of the unborn and in this case, if they have their way, all of us will be paying in some form for abortions. This is another one of those "Hope and Change" promises that many do not want and yet, in democrat minds, abortion is a healthcare issue. Preferably, I think promoting condom use would help boost the economy more than taking the life of the unborn.
