Politics, As Usual
The wolf is in the hen house,
the youths have set him free
The preachers telling people
You need to elect me.
The Arizona veteran is
Smiling in New Hampshire
While the lady tells us
All we need is more fire.
The truth is hard to come by
Who will win this race?
Until we have more facts
Let us try to slow the pace.
If congress stays divided
Nothings going to change
No matter what they're say
We all will still feel the pains.

Amen...No real commitment equals no change...
Amen sister! :)
Truer words never spoken. Gridlock equals do nothing and status quo. Our country desperately needs a change in the left direction.
Moderation is seldom heard in Congress these days.
brilliantly captured as always
This is cute. I love your wry sense of humor, as you point out truths. The wolf is in the henhouse; that's for sure. And who is pulling THE PUPPET strings? (Couldn't resist alluding to my similar sentiments!) ;-)
nicely tackled
Sad but true. Thank You fer sharin'. Mizpah. ;-}}>
