Ingredients

Serves 4
3 c. pomegranate juice
1 lemon, zested, juiced
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar

Directions for Pomegranate Sorbet

1
Whisk the three ingredients in a small saucepan on medium heat. Once the sugar dissolves, cook down for 10-15 minutes to intensify the juice.
2
Take off heat and let the lemon zest steep for 1 hour. Strain out the lemon zest and discard. Chill overnight.
3
Pour the pomegranate mixture into a well chilled ice cream maker. You need to have the machine running first so the sorbet will churn properly. Churn for 15-20 minutes. Eat immediately or freeze for later.
