Popular Adult Halloween Costume Ideas for 2008

What will you be this Halloween? Here are some new and popular costume ideas for 2008.

Speed Racer: Speed Racer was a 2008 released Warner Bros family movie. It has inspired both a men and women's Speed Racer costume for this year. The lady's costume recreates character Trixie. This outfit features a black halter romper with a pink checkerboard pattern on the sides and waist. You'll need matching checkerboard gloves and black leather boots. Also, don't forget about a black bob wig. The men's outfit will have white pants, a bright blue shirt with a yellow letter G on the pocket area, yellow gloves, a red scarf worn around the neck, and of course a white helmet with the letter M written on the front.

Ms. Jason Voorhees: If your husband or boyfriend likes being Jason for Halloween, talk him into going as a couple, you being Ms. Voorhees! This costume will feature a sexy hockey jersey like Jason's with red stripes, a "Jason" mask and bloody machete. Pair this outfit with leather boots, mess up your hair, and wear dark makeup around your eyes.

Borat Mankini: Remember the movie Borat? If you are brave enough, sport this Mankini for Halloween! This green lycra mankini is very skimpy - it is like a woman's bathing suit, but without much material - it reminds me of a small speedo stretched into suspenders. Grab a mustache, Borat wig, and give the thumbs up as you walk into the room! Oh, and if you live in a cold climate, this might not be the best costume to wear if you want to stay warm.

Obama or McCain: Show your presidential support by being Obama or McCain this Halloween. These two have masks floating around Halloween stores this season so grab one up and pair it with your best business suit. If you have friends or if your wife / girlfriend agrees, go as a couple. Be Palin and McCain or McCain and his wife for example.

Military: This is still a popular costume idea for 2008. Your outfit can be sexy, casual, or "professional". You can be a sailor, Coast Guard member, Airman, in the Army, a Marine, etc. Most costume shops and even Army surplus stores will be a great place to look for items to complete your outfit. Don't forget props like hats, boots, toy guns, etc.
