Coal Harbour is located right near the Lions Gate Bridge and is just a stones throw away from the beautiful Sea-Wall. This is a popular spot for people who like to be located near everything as Yaletown, Granville Street, and the West End are all located in close proximity. There are many beautiful buildings for rent in this area and the price varies depending on what amenities you are interested in. The ever popular Robson Street is just a quick stroll for a shopping trip. There are also plenty of choices in restaurants from Sushi, Thai, Western, and so much more. In addition to that there is a coffee shop on almost every corner. The proximity to the Sea-Wall is very popular if you would like to get your daily walk in, or just enjoy the view down by the harbour. There are also some beautiful restaurants located right on the harbour if you would like to enjoy a nice meal out on the patio overlooking the water.
The West End is another popular spot for those living in the downtown area. This is located right on English Bay, which is an extremely popular and bustling beach in the summer months. Stanley Park is also nearby if you want to take some time walking through this popular attraction. There are also some community pools nearby if you'd rather a pool instead of a beach. The area itself consists of mainly older style buildings, but these buildings are also what attract many to the area. The beach and unique buildings situated right on English Bay attract many people. Denman Street is one of the main streets through the West End, and you will again find a fine selection of restaurants consisting of many different choices in cuisine.
Yaletown is the third popular spot in my mind for Vancouver. It is a little higher end and consists of beautiful buildings for rent, with no shortage. There are many health conscious people in this area lending to many such grocery stores and supermarkets. There is a strip filled with different restaurants and pubs that are frequently busy, and beautiful a beautiful place to sit outside on a warm summer's night. There is not as large a shopping district area in this district, but shopping is just a short walk away.
Thus, depending on your preferences there are many places to choose from in Beautiful Vancouver, but do your research as each area has it's owns pro's and con's.
