Today's most searched stories on Google include flooding, animal cruelty and Rush Limbaugh wedding pictures.

According to Google trends, Limbaugh posted wedding pictures on his Facebook page and Internet searchers began searching for the page just after 6 a.m. with the number of searches peaking at 11.a.m. Central Standard Time.

The second most Googled topic today is the soccer match between Mexico and World Cup Champion Spain with the number of searches peaking at 2 p.m. CST.

The third most searched topic is former congressman Dan Rostenkowski, who died in the Alaskan plane crash that also killed Ted Stevens and Jim Gray. Searches peaked at noon CST.

Lisa Roberts Gillan, sister of Julia Roberts became a popular search at 3 p.m. CST.

Gillian stars in the film, " Eat Pray Love."

Cisco Systems became a popular search after their fiscal fourth-quarter profit jumped 79 percent on rebounding revenue.

The Houston, Texas community took an interest in an NBA trade involving Courtney Lee, making Lee a popular search at 1 p.m. CST. Lee will now play for the Rockets after a four -team five player trade was worked out. Former Los Angeles Laker Trevor Ariza was also involved in the trade making him well Googled as well.

IOS 4.0.2 for iPhone became a popular search. The update is supposed to be the fix for the PDF flaw.

George Wilborn and his wife reportedly filed a race complaint in Chicago making him a popular Google search in Chicago, New York and Washington D.C.

A disturbing story that became a popular search, is one of a man that doused a cat in oil and peppers with the intent of eating the feline.

Police in Buffalo N.Y. pulled the man over for running a stop sign. They heard a cat meowing in the trunk and investigated.

The cat was covered in oil, crushed red peppers and chili peppers.

The man reportedly told the officers the cat was ill tempered and he planned to cook him at home.

The man is now charged with animal cruelty and living in a cage, while the cat is safe and sound and up for adoption.

    That cat story is funny, thanks for the laugh. P.S. I don't eat cats and don't condone eating them, particularly if you put the spices on the fur and not the meat.

    I guess it all depends on which news stations are reporting what. That story about the cat, though, was really disturbing.

    I think our society's misplaced priorities are reflected in Google Trends, where celebrities take interest over things that REALLY affect our country. But that's just me!
