Many times people enjoy watching fish swim in an aquarium while they are eating. An aquarium brings an interesting touch to a restaurant that makes it stand out above the norm. Also having an aquarium in the restaurant gives customers something to talk about. You are more likely to remember most specifics about your dining experience if there is something unique like an aquarium. Many Las Vegas restaurants have aquariums. Some of these restaurants include the following.

One of the most popular restaurants in Las Vegas with an aquarium is the Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge. Located at 3333 Blue Diamond Road, Las Vegas NV 89139, the Mermaid Restaurant has more that 4,000 tropical fish inside a 117,000 gallon salt water aquarium. Another spectacular feature of the place is there are hourly performances by Olympic winning synchronized swimmers. This restaurant serves a mixture of meat and fish entrées. It is average priced for eating in Las Vegas. You can expect this place to be a little on the loud side since most visitors are there for the shows. Bring the kids, they will love watching the mermaid show and the restaurant is kid-friendly.

The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas has one of the most spectacular aquariums in Vegas. They have a 20,000 gallon tank filled with more than 1000 different species of coral and sea life. The aquarium is located behind the front desk. As you enter the hotel you can view the aquarium as you are on your way to enjoy one of the many restaurants. From fine dining to bars and lounges, the Mirage has it all. Their variety of restaurants will have you coming back for more than just the aquarium views.

Benihana is not just any old Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. Here you will be able to watch as servers prepare your dinner on hibachi style grills. Everything is made to order. Not only is the food prepared in front of you, there are a variety of sights to entertain your eyes. You will be able to hear the sound of rain and see the wonderful aquariums in the establishment. It is truly a unique place. You should plan on spending around $60-75 a person for meals and an appetizer. Reservations are strongly recommended and the restaurant is open seven days a week.

Rainforest Café is a great place in Las Vegas to see aquariums while you eat! Take the kids as this is defiantly a kid-friendly restaurant. With dishes such as Leaping Lizard Lettuce Wrap and Flying Dragon Pepperoni Pizza it is bound to be exciting and entertaining. You will be surrounded by a rainforest atmosphere with waterfalls, aquariums and the whole nine yards. It is located inside the MGM Grand Hotel. The dining cost is average for the area and dress is casual. Children and adults are welcome. They are open seven days a week and they serve American cuisine.

Winchell's Pub in Las Vegas is another little establishment that has an aquarium. Located at 199 E Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas NV 89119, you should expect normal bar food like burgers, salads and fries. This is not really a place to bring children due to the alcohol. They do offer outdoor seating and there is a bar for alcoholic beverages.

Spend your Las Vegas vacation trying the different restaurants featuring aquariums just for the fun of it!
