Sometimes finding a pet-friendly hotel is difficult, however, there are several pet-friendly hotels in Steamboat Springs. Steamboat Springs is one of Colorado's most popular year-round resorts and with good reason. With majestic views, lots of outdoor activities, and friendly staff and locals, why shouldn't there be pet-friendly hotels in Steamboat Springs?

Always give the hotel of your choice a call before visiting Steamboat Springs just to make sure that they are still a pet-friendly hotel. Most of these pet-friendly hotels in Steamboat Springs require your dog to be leashed at all times and there may be other restrictions. A phone call will clear up any issues and will also let the hotel know that you intend to bring Fido along.

The Comfort Inn

Located at 1055 Walton Creek Road, this pet-friendly hotel in Steamboat Springs accepts dogs of all sizes. The Comfort Inn is conveniently located a short distance from skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. Please contact the Comfort Inn at 970 879-6669 or toll free at 877 424-6423.

Rabbit Ears Motel

This motel is located at 201 Lincoln Avenue, right across from the Steamboat Health and Recreation Association and their famous hot spring pools. This pet-friendly hotel in Steamboat Springs allows dogs of all sizes to stay with their owner. There are some restrictions, such as you can't leave Fido in the room alone at anytime, and they do ask that you clean up after your pet. A pet fee will be charged for your dog. They offer a free full continental breakfast and have some discounted natural hot springs pool passes available. Please call them at 970 879-1150 for more information and for reservations.

La Quinta

Located at 3155 Ingles Lane, La Quinta offers many amenities from its pet-friendly hotel. Dogs of all sizes are allowed in this pet-friendly hotel in Steamboat Springs and there are some restrictions. They ask that dogs not be left unattended unless the dog is well-behaved and you'll have to leave a phone number where you can be reached at the front desk. There is a fee for your pet. La Quinta is a smoke-free hotel and offers a free breakfast as well as free hi-speed internet service in each room. Please call them at 1-800-531-5900 to make reservations and for more information.

Sheraton Steamboat Resort and Conference Center

Located at 2200 Village Inn Court, this pet-friendly hotel allows dogs up to 80 lbs. There is a fee and dogs may not be left alone in the room. For additional information, please call the Sheraton at 970 879-2220.

Holiday Inn

Located at 3190 South Lincoln Avenue, the Holiday Inn is another great pet-friendly hotel in Steamboat Springs. When you make reservations at this pet-friendly hotel, make sure you let them know that you're bringing Fido along. There is a fee for your pet and pets may not be left alone in the room. All pets are restricted to the first floor in this hotel. They do have a restaurant on site and an outdoor pool. To make reservations, please call them at 970 879-2250, or toll-free at 877 865-6578.

The Alpiner Lodge

Located downtown, The Alpiner Lodge is within walking distance to shopping, dining, and recreational activities. Pets are welcome and there is a one-time $15 cleaning fee for your pet. There are 33 rooms at the Alpiner Lodge and all have radiant heat which your pet will enjoy after a long winter's day out and about. Wireless hi-speed internet and breakfast each morning are offered. Remember, pet-friendly hotels need to be told that you're bringing Fido along when you make your hotel reservations.
