Dining Halls
Brittain - This dining hall is located in the middle of the east campus dorms. It has an old feeling to it complete with stain glass windows, large wooden supports, and wooden tables and chairs. There is a salad bar, fruit stand, ice cream, and prepared food for everyone. However, many students feel that it does not have the variety of selections that the other dining hall, Woodruff, does.
Woodruff- This dining hall is located on the opposite side of campus on west campus. It has a more modern feeling then that of Brittain. Instead of wooden chairs and tables it boasts plastic and metal tables, a large Flat Screen TV and two floors.
On Campus Restaurants
Moe's Southwest Grill - Southwest flavor at a cheap price. Moe's serves fresh southwest food in a fast food environment. The speed of service is the only thing it shares with fast food restaurants. Its food is healthier then most fast food restaurants and it boasts vegetarian options as well. Moe's Southwest Grill is located in Technology Square
Tin Drum Asian Cafe- As the name suggests Tin Drum is an Asian style restaurant, in fact is the only one located on Georgia Tech's campus. The Tin Drum is a mix of Asian flavors from all over with friendly service as well. The best part of Tin Drum Asian Cafe is the large amount of food for a relatively small amount of money. Take the left overs back to your dorm and save yourself from the monotony of your meal plan.
Fifth Street Ribs and Blues - Fifth Street Ribs and Blues offers all kinds of BBQ, from ribs to pulled pork and chicken. The flavors are average at best but for the price it is pretty decent. Also they offer beer specials as well. This restaurant is definitely geared toward the student population.
Ray's - One of the most popular places to eat on Georgia Tech's campus is Ray's Pizza. While the service can be extremely slow on busy nights (depending on your order) it is by far worth the wait. The calzones are one of the favorites there and the portions are huge. This is definitely two meals in one especially for college students. Starbucks - What would any college be without a coffee shop. A staple for studying college students pulling all nighters.
Marble Slab - Ice cream for those hot humid days in Atlanta. Prices are fairly good, but again it depends on what you get.
