J Higgs is available at Save A Lot stores for a bargain price of one dollar per bag. These pork rinds are especially great. They have the hot and spicy flavor I crave, and plenty of extra crunchy rinds in each bag that are very similar to cracklings. For the price J Higgs Pork Rinds are an exceptional deal and a quality product. When purchasing Save a Lot brand foods you can trust you will get a great product at a great price, and all Save a Lot products are backed up with an unconditional money back guarantee. Believe it or not, J Higgs hot and spicy pork rinds are better for you than a standard potato chip. They are lower in fat, cholesterol and sodium than your average potato chip! The only complaint I have with this product is they do have an unpleasant smell. My friends always say "Gross! They smell like pee!" When I eat J higgs hot and spicy pork rinds in front of my pals!
Evans Foods brand original pork skins are available at Wal-Mart stores for a great price of $1.28 per 6 ounce bag. They are mild in flavor and low in sodium, carbs and contain zero grams of trans fat. They are not as crispy and crunchy as the J Higgs brand but they are great if you are not looking for a barbeque's or hot and spicy flavor. Maybe I am just crazy for pork rinds, but when I eat the Evans Food brand of pork skins, no one complains about the smell, they smell much better than the J Higgs brand. I love the flavor and the healthier snack option Evans Foods Pork Skins offers me.
If you like pork rinds or skins, and you like to save money, I would recommend you try either of the brands I have mentioned in this review. Both of these pork rinds are flavorful, a great value and easy to find in the store.
I have tried a large variety of pork rinds in my life, and of all of the brands I have tried I prefer either Evans Foods or J Higgs brand pork rinds. They are tasty, affordable and a fun snack!
