An Easy Pork Roast Recipe

Here is a fast a really fast pork roast recipe which will please you and your family. I use boxed stuffing and not many ingredients. From start to finish you can get the roast in the oven under ten minutes but your family or company will think you worked for hours in the kitchen. Don't tell them, I'll keep the secret.

1 Boneless Pork Top Loin Roast about 1 ½ to 2 pounds.
1 Box stove top dressing any flavor.
Olive Oil
1 Medium yellow onion
1/4 tsp. Black pepper
½ tsp. Celery salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet splash in some olive oil to just coat the bottom of the pan.

Coarsely chop the onion and place into the skillet. Add the pepper and celery salt. Cook Onions until they begin to become transparent but not brown. Remove the onions, put them into the roasting pan. Brown the pork roast in the skillet, turning the roast so all sides are browned. Place roast on top of the onions. Prepare stove top dressing per box directions using the same large skillet. I always substitute real unsalted butter for margarine. Remove roast from onions and mix dressing with the onions. Push aside dressing and onion mix so roast will fit back into the pan and be surrounded with the mixture. Place in oven and bake 45 minutes or until your meat thermometer registers 160 to 170 degrees. Remove from oven and allow roast to relax a few minutes before carving. Arrange dressing mixture around carved meat.
