Jenna gave her opinions on politics at the end of the interview, a wide ranging discussion that included everything from her best-selling book, "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star," to her work in mainstream films, such as "Sick" and "Zombie." In the political segment of the interview, Jameson revealed that although she wishes Hillary's husband, former president Bill Clinton, would run again [something he is forbidden to do by law], she supports Hillary.
In the PR.com interview, Jenna was asked, "Who's your favorite Democratic front runner for 2008? Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton or John Edwards?" Jenna responded, "I love Hillary. I think that in some ways she's pretty conservative for a democrat, but I would love to have a woman in office. I think that it would be a step in the right direction for our country, and there would be less focus on war and more focus on bettering society."
She further expanded her views on Democrats versus Republicans, and how it affects her line of work. Part of the reason, apparently, was that Democrats were less likely to make her life as a porn star difficult. She said, "The Clinton administration was the best years for the adult industry and I wish that Clinton would run again. I would love to have him back in office. I would love to have Al Gore in office. When Republicans are in office, the problem is, a lot of times they try to put their crosshairs on the adult industry, to make a point. It's sad, when there are so many different things that are going on in the world: war, and people are dying of genocide."
She went on to add, still in the PR.com interview, that in her mind, the best thing for this country would be someone like Hillary in office. "I look forward to another democrat being in office," she said. "It just makes the climate so much better for us, and I know that once all our troops come home, things are going to be better and I think that getting Bush out of office is the most important thing right now."
Jameson says she does not like to portray herself as a democrat, but she does acknowledge being "extremely liberal." While this endorsement is not likely to end up on the front page of Hillary Clinton's website, it did cause others, such as CBN.com's David Brody, to wonder what other recommendations have been picked up by leading candidates, and what endorsement (such as Ted Kennedy endorsing Mitt Romney, Vidal Sassoon endorsing John Edwards or Don Imus endorsing Barack Obama), popular candidates would want least of all.

Post a CommentHow the hell did the opinion of a porn star ever come to mean anything at all on the political scene? Is this what our politics have been reduced to? What, are we supposed to treat her chosen profession as a valid one, one like any other, that somehow gives her something intelligent to say about politics. Give me a break!
Jenna Jameson has got to be one of the sexiest women on the planet. If you have any doubts, check out my totally HOT photo gallery of her at:

It would be interesting to see whom Jenna backs now. Remember that in early 2007 Barack Obama had not joined the race and was not considered a strong candidate anyway due to Hillary's influence, name recognition, and the "political machine" behind her. Hillary was considered the only viable Democratic candidate by most people, including Jenna. Now, however, things are very different for Hillary. I wonder if Jenna is just supporting any Democratic candidate (regardless if it is Hillary or Obama).
i think shes the hottest thing since marlyn monroe. she will sleep with all the maids like bill clinton but hey...she would be good to look at.
If anything I think this will make people less likely to vote for her. Celebrity endorsements feel too much like attempted mind control. People see right through it.
How can this article be in the news section of AC. It should be in the Entertainment one instead. It is obvious that AC's editors have a problem determining what news is!
Everyone's allowed to have an opinion. Just because Miss Jameson is famous doesn't make her opinion a good one. Not that I would would mind having a woman president in the slightest but Hillary Clinton? It should be a new law that all new presidents must have a different last name than all previous ones (or at least be unaffiliated). That sounds pretty ignorant of me to say but after seeing how unhappy people are with having Bush 2.0 in the office I don't think it's too far of a stretch.
Well, I don't know what to say about this except doesn't that make an interesting statement?
While this may help Hilary a little in the short term, it will be forgotten in the matter of a few weeks. Celebrity endorcers have never played a significant role in the Election Process.
