5. Ooky Spooky 10th Annual BarFly Bus Halloween Tour (10/31/09 7:00 p.m.)
The BarFly bus is chartering a bar-hopping trip across Portland with multiple costume contests and other Halloweeny mini-events. It's been an overwhelmingly popular event in past years, with tickets frequently selling out weeks in advance, so reserve your spot early. Costuming is mandatory. Admittance is $25 per person or $200 per ten. 23 and up only.

4. Portland Halloween Bazaar (10/3/09 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. @ Lloyd Center Doubletree Exhibit Hall)
This event collects vendors of Halloween- and Day of the Dead-related crafts and services into a grandiose and typically Portland-bohemian public market. Admittance for those ten and up is $5, with Halloween dress encouraged.

3. Halloween 2009 @ Barracuda (10/31/09 @ 9 NW 2nd Ave.)
Downtown nighspot Barracuda plans to celebrate Halloween in inimitable Portland style. Club attire with a spooky twist is generally expected, but don't come in an inflatable Fat Bastard suit. The cover charge has not yet been set.

2. The Haunted Manor (10/30/09-10/31/09 @ 11503 NE Broadacres Rd. in Hubbard, just out of downtown Portland)
Milburn Manor is hosting a plethora of kid-friendly Halloween events in 2009. Admittance to the Haunted Manor itself or Wicked Wood Forest is $8 and admittance to Boo Lane and the Pumpkin Patch is $5.

1. Scream At The Beach (10/31/09 @ 1802 Jantzen Beach Center)
