Salty's sits right on the banks of the famous Columbia River giving the patrons a great view of the river activities. A boat launch is about 4 blocks from Salty's so the Columbia River activity is always exciting.

The romantic atmosphere of Salty's entices many of the patrons for those special occasions. Executive Chef Dana Cress is always whipping up some of the fresh local seafood's for the menu. April 2010 presents lobster and shrimp stuffed wild Salmon. Salty's menu also provides patrons with dinners such as Prime Rib, T-Bone crusted in toasted pepercorns, Halibut Oscar, Seafood Fritti Platter and much more. The menu prices are a bit spending running from $25.99 to $45.99 per meal, but with the romantic atmosphere and the great service the prices are well worth a visit to Salty's for that romantic dinner.

Seating at Salty's is inside or on the patio sitting right at the waters edge. During the Christmas holiday season the deck is an exciting place for viewing of Portland's famous Christmas Ships on Parade.

Menu prices are bit high at this romantic Portland Hot Spot but for that romantic meal it is a great place to make that reservation.

Morton's is secreted on a small side street in downtown Portland right across form the Keller Auditorium. This darkened site brings romance to mind when you walk in the front door.

Menu items such as Tuna tartar, Prime Ocean Platter, Filet Mignon or Double cut Porterhouse Steak and the slightly smaller steaks such as the New York Strip Steak are absolutely to die for. Also for the non-steak eater there is Double Rib Lamb Chops, Chicken Christopher and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes to choose from.

Morton's is probably the most expensive of these three restaurants and of course each entrée is just that an entrée and you choose your vegetable, salad, soup and other sides at an additional price. However, if romance is the idea then Morton's is a quiet and unique atmosphere that enhances that feeling of romance for a couple or even a group.
