We have now used Portrait Innovations for two years and could not be happier with our experiences. We do not take our children anywhere else to have pictures made. The studio has professional photographers, affordable prices and packages and there is no pressure to buy pictures that you are not going to use.
Our first experience with Portrait Innovations was when my oldest son was just 8 months old. They took almost one hundred pictures! However, since everything is done digitally, the session went by pretty quickly. Our photographer snapped pictures of everything and gave us the opportunity to change his clothes three times during our appointment time. I was able to request poses that I wanted as well. After all of the pictures were taken, we sat down in front of a viewing screen and watched a brief slideshow of the pictures that were taken. Then we went through the pictures three at a time and took out the ones that we did not like. The prices show up on the screen as you narrow your choices down and it shows the available package choices. We ended up buying eight different poses and also received a copy of all of the pictures taken on a CD.
The best part about the entire session is that the pictures are totally ready in 20 minutes! Not just proofs, either. Your entire picture package is printed off in the store and is ready for you to take home that same day! We normally grab some lunch and come back afterwards to finished pictures!
We have since had pictures made every three months and now that we have two boys, we have had their pictures made together. I could not be happier with my experience at Portrait Innovations and would highly recommend the portrait studio to anyone who is looking for a great place to have pictures made.

Worst experience of my life! My two children had to wait for over an hour, keep in mind we had an appointment time, and the so called manager Sarah was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone!!! I will go back to Motophoto for sure.
I took my 2 month old and the experience was wonderful. However, they did take a number of pictures of her in different outfits. I ended up paying more than I would have liked but the pictures are beautiful. I got the 9.99 special but wanted 2 more poses. I spent 43 but this was still way cheaper than the newborn pics they take at the hospital. The guy was very nice and patient. I didnt feel forced just overwhelmed all of the shots were beautiful. But from here on out it will be one pose for 9.95 the packages are pricey but if several relatives pitched in you could have a nice family package and there are no hidden fees. The major downside is that what isn't bought is erased.
I love Portrait Innovations. They opened a new one where I live in Mississippi and the people could not be nicer or more professional. They not only remember the name of my daughter each time we come, but even her stuffed elephant she always brings! Grade A service and product.
We bought a big package the first time we took her - but not because of any pressure; we just loved them all! Since then, I pick one good pose each time and I'm out the door $10 lighter with gorgeous pictures to mail everyone in the family.
....When there weren't any customers in the building, they would belch. And they weren't like any normal belch - they would force them out & amplify them, making them louder & more disgusting. The list goes on, but I'd rather not continue & keep listing EVERYTHING.
I actually worked for a Portrait Innovations. I am IN NO WAY defending what they do. In fact, I agree with a lot of you. I don't know why they do this (other than to get customers in the door) & I definitely do NOT agree with it, but they schedule appointments for every 10 minutes, but the actual photo shoot takes 10 minutes (sometimes longer). They do not put into account that they have to sit down afterwards to review the photos. That could take up to a half hour, if not longer. That's why things run late. Yes, they do have a handful of employees, but when booking A LOT of appointments (especially on the weekends), things get backed up for this reason. (Oh yeah, & what makes them take longer is they force you to buy a lot of pictures. If you don't want to, they try everything in their power to motivate or con you into buying more than what you want.)
The girls (there weren't any guys) I worked w/ were rude, unprofessional, & very young (I was the oldest one in there). Wh
I too am very disapointed with PI I have been there several times with my two kids, 1 & 2. I have always had to wait, up to an hour! On Saturday, I was 23 minutes late for my appointment and the manager told me " Your late, you lost your appointment!" he told me I could come back 4 hours later! He was rude and demeaning. I have been trying to reach customer service for 3 days and no one will return my call.
you were lucky - my experience was completely rushed - only got two poses - rude attitude - I was expecting the cadillac service, got a worse than walmart service!!!
All I can say about the Jax, FL location is that they acted unprofessional and I will not use them. They have no helpful customer service.
Had a 6:40 pm appt at the one in Atlanta. The place was a zoo, the employees unfriendly. And at 7 pm i was told there were still 6 families in front of me. No apology, no explanation. They obviously didn't care. I was thoroughly disgusted with my experience.
