Positive Thinking: The Power to Make Your Life Happier

Tennie Smith
Positive thinking is something you can use in every aspect of your life. No matter what is happening, good or bad, positive thinking can help you make the best of any situation. It's the most important tool you can use to keep you energized and up beat even through the tough times. I've learned that positive thinking can actually draw even more positive things in to your life. I've met wonderful people just by helping others look at the positive side of a bad situation.

The bible actually has some verses in it about positive thinking. The verses also talk about asking for what we want in order to have the fulfilling life we deserve, which is not only positive but it also relates to the law of attraction.. The law of attraction can simply be defined as - the way we think, feel and believe affects the path in which our life goes and the events that happen in our lives. These are the verses that are related to positive thinking and the law of attraction.

Passage Luke 11:9-13:

9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[a] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

Not only can you be positive yourself and change your life but you can ask God for help as well. The things that will make your life better and more fulfilled can be yours if you just ask for them.

Start turning your life around. When something bad happens to you like losing a job, think positive. Look at it as an opportunity to find a job that you love and will enrich your life. Maybe that job was holding you back from spending time with your family and friends. Also, use the change in your life to renew yourself. While you're looking for a new job or exciting opportunity, start eating better and exercising more. Devote more time to the things that are most important to you.

Give back to your community and get involved in your church. These things will keep you excited about the new changes you're making, and anything positive you do for yourself or others will keep you in that positive state of mind. The more you think and do positive things the more positive things will happen in your life. This will make it easier to look at the bright side of life the next time you're faced with a difficult situation. Think positive and watch your life become happier and more meaningful!
