If you're trying to watch your weight, this is a great choice. One cup of this cereal is 200 calories, no cholesterol, vitamin A, vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, and Iron. You get a total of eleven vitamins and minerals. Not to mention it is a whole grain cereal.
You will get 23 grams of whole gain per serving and there is also no Trans fat for you dieters to worry about consuming. One cup of Cranberry Almond Crunch and it will fill you up for hours and keep you going at least until lunch time!
One thing about this cereal that is different than any other cereal is that it actually has viewable fruit in it, unlike other cereals where you have to search the cereal with a microscope to find the cranberries. Cranberry Almond Crunch is full of a generous amount of ruby red cranberries. The same goes for the almonds, no microscopic slices of almonds in this cereal; again you get a generous amount of finely sliced almonds. The almonds also seem to have a buttery taste to them.
If you like whole grain granola clusters in your breakfast cereal; Cranberry Almond Crunch is full of huge, crunchy granola clusters as well as multi grain flakes that will make your taste buds go crazy for more. I know that your either eating this cereal because you love it and or your on a strict diet, however if you add just a sprinkle of sugar onto this bowl of cereal it helps to bring out the flavor in the cranberries, almonds, and granola clusters.
As for the calorie intake, you do have to remember that if you do add fat free milk you have to increase the cereal's calorie intake form 200 to 240 and to 260 if adding whole milk.
A 13 oz. box of Post Selects Cranberry Almond Crunch is best purchased from a local Wal-Mart for the cheapest price of $3.29. Any other supermarkets tend to not carry this select choice of Post cereal or they do carry it, however at a higher cost.
All and all, Post Selects Cranberry Almond Crunch is the best breakfast cereal out there, and extremely healthy too! So grab a bowl today and get the morning going without that sluggish and sick feeling!
