With PostNuke, you can easily create a FAQ section. You can create the questions and then add the answers to the questions. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a FAQ section in your PostNuke site. You will need to login to your PostNuke admin panel. Once you have logged in, click the Content tab. In the content section, you will see the FAQ icon, click that icon to get started.
Adding a Category for the FAQ Section
To begin, you will need to add your FAQ categories. When you click the FAQ icon, you will be redirected to the page where you can create a category. Enter the name of the category, language, and select the parent category. Then click the Save button. Your category will be saved and when the page reloads, you can create a new category. Create as many categories as you need.
Adding Questions and Answers to your FAQ Section
The page that you are on now will have the names of the categories. Beside each category, you will see three links. To start adding questions and answers to the categories, you will need to click the Content link beside the category that you want to start adding questions and answers too.
On the next page you will see the two boxes. The top box is for the Question. The second box is for the Answer. So, type your question in the top box and your answer in the bottom box. Then click the Save button. You can add another question and answer to the same category when the page reloads. Once you have your question and answer, click the Save button again. Continue doing this until you have created all of your questions and answers.
You can edit your questions and answers by clicking the edit link beside each question. The next page will allow you to edit the question and answer. To go back to the page with the categories, click the Back link below the answers box. The Back link is located right next to the Save button. That will carry you back to the Category page where you can select another category to add your questions and answers too.
To edit a category, click the Edit link beside the name of the category. Then edit the category on the next page. To delete a category, click the Delete link next to the category. Your FAQ section will be automatically added to your PostNuke site.
