Postpartum Depression Support Groups in Los Angeles County

Sarena Watts
As you hold your new baby in your arms you think, "this should be the happiest moment in my life, why isn't it though?" If you feel this way then this may be what is called postpartum depression and you are not alone. Postpartum depression is a temporary and treatable condition. When seeing a mental health care professional about your postpartum depression you should make sure that they specialize in treating postpartum depression and that they belong to one of the major organizations that provides postpartum depression related support and education. PostPartum.net is a great start if you are looking for support. Another site that has been greatly recommended to me is postpartum.meetup where you can join a postpartum meet up group near you. There is no support better than someone else going through the same thing.
