Overall the show had much filler. Like a bikini contest from the girls... which Michele started. Kind of surprising but then again she did say she wanted to break her stereotype. Another one who wished to break his stereotype was Ronnie. He met with Jessie alone in the HoH and started a plan in motion. The idea was to get the Athletes and Brains to work together, especially the two of them. Jessie seemed to agree and after letting Natalie know the plan, they called both Chima and Ronnie to the HoH to discuss what to do with nominations. Jessie wanted to put one of them up as a pawn, to throw people off and make sure nobody would expect that the two cliques were working together. Both sides seem to feel its a smart move. I do as well, as long as someone takes out an Athlete next week. Can you guess which is my least favorite clique?
During one of the nights the new Have or Have Nots challenge was revealed. Nobody was expecting it and with Jessie being HoH that meant that the Athletes were having everything along with him. That left three cliques to be in the "have not" group and what they had to do was connect four letters that were made from PVC pipes. Neon water would flow through the pipes, making the backyard glow and the first two cliques to get all letters glowing would win. This was one of THE best challenges they have done, visually at least. It looked amazing and very cool. Something not often said about a Big Brother challenge. Hopefully they keep it up, but I have little hope.
As the challenge began it became obvious who would take the lead. Casey walked Kevin and Lydia through the entire challenge and with their early lead they claimed first place, and "having" for the week. That left the Brains and the Populars to battle it out for the worst living conditions ever. Ronnie's "linear connection" strategy seemed to be the Brain's downfall as they hardly got one letter connected when the Populars finished. Chima was NOT happy about going on slop for the week and also living in the have-not room. It isn't THAT bad, just a floor and a mat but at least its something. Good thing she didn't go on Survivor.
With nominations approaching Lydia and Laura pumped up their charm. Laura tried to flirt with Jessie, but it didn't work as he dislikes her for her looks. Lydia, on the other hand, worked her massaging magic. Or tried to at least. It seemed that her and Jessie were connecting but in the end he nominated Lydia and Chima (as the pawn) for eviction. His reasons were kind of lame, saying they had to go eventually but everyone does in the end. Will one of them get off the block thanks to the Power of Veto?
