Power House Brush Free Bowl Cleaner Review

Tara Cellars
There are many cleaners on the shelves these days. Many of them do not work as well as they say they should. When I moved into my house there was a can of a toilet bowl cleaner I had never heard of in the house. I decided that I would see if it worked because my mother-in-law had been using it for quite a while. I noticed that it says that it requires no scrubbing and no brushing for it to work. The name of this cleaner is Power House Brush Free Bowl Cleaner. I read all of the directions and discovered that you have to use it every day and your toilet must already be clean. They are also making a claim that says that the cleaner will work best if you use it daily and if the toilet is already clean. That means that if you forget to use it one day or you start with a toilet that isn't very clean, it's not going to perform to its best ability. This cleaner has a claim that says it will prevent mildew, hard water stains, and mineral stains.

When I first tried the product it was on a thoroughly clean toilet. I wanted to see the product work the best it could. I used it for 30 days, every day. The first time I followed the directions. I shook the can and sprayed the inside of the bowl and under the rim so the area was completely covered. I then let it sit all night. You can actually let it sit an hour or overnight. You don't even have to flush the cleaner down. It was easy to use, but I must say that it does not keep the toilet that clean. It does however work best if you do brush the toilet with the cleaner.Overall this product does not accomplish what it says. It will not prevent your toilet from getting dirty. It will help keep it cleaner though if you use it as a regular cleaner and brush the bowl too. This is a product that is made in Canada. One can should last about four weeks when used as a preventative measure. I have never used the brand before; I had always used The Works. If you are looking for a good cleaner to keep your toilet from getting dirty, this is not a product that holds up to its brush free name. If you want to use it with a brush, it does perform well.
