When you just moved in to a small apartment there are some important things you need to buy. There are the appliances and tools you can use to keep your belongings organized in that small living space.

Sometimes a small apartment doesn't have enough wall hangers and the landlord just won't allow you to knock a nail on the wall because they're afraid you might hit the pipes. A tree style rack stand doesn't take much space and it's strong and sturdy enough to hang your heavy coat.

Even when you only have a small knife set with only thee knives you still need to think of a way to store them safely. A knife block can take too much precious space in your kitchen so that's not a good option. A magnetic knife holder, on the other hand, is very compact and practical. If your bed has considerable amount of space underneath you can use this box to keep the stuff that won't fit in the closet (if you have any). The box should be transparent so can easily identify the things you put in it. Since these boxes are pretty cheap (about $10 each) you may want to buy more than one.

Six Hook Door Hanger

Hang this over your bathroom door so you can your towels and clothes on it. Using a door hanger is a better option than installing a wall hanger since it doesn't require any drilling so your landlord doesn't have any excuse to touch your security deposit.
