While "printable" gifts may seem kind of lame, these seven kid friendly ideas are really going to change the way you look at your printer! With everything from 3D flying saucers to doll house goodies, you're sure to find something for all the kids (and kid-at-hearts) on your list! Best of all, they don't cost anything more then a little time, ink and paper!

A classic, but still very cool, paper doll is sure to thrill a little girl of almost any age! There are figures your child might recognize, like the Berenstain Bears, some cool "fashion" dolls, as well as some fun historical figures, like Jane Austen characters! Print colored in, or leave that up to your little clothing designer! (Here)

These fun coloring sheets are also a really cool idea, because they feature your choice of your favorite Disney characters! Another fun idea may be to print off a cover for a custom coloring book - fill it with your child's favorite characters, and put their name on the front (example: "Jason's Coloring Book"), not only will this up the cool factor, it will also reduce the fighting factor! (Here)

Another good idea for a fun, personalized book would be to make a book of puzzles! This is a good option for children who are a little older, or who enjoy figuring things out! There are tons of options for you to choose from, like Sudoku, mazes, word searches and more! (Here)

If your child is older, and needs something a little more challenging then staying inside the lines, then these amazing 3-D puzzles and figures are sure to impress! With everything from flying saucers, graveyards, farms, animals and more - it will be hard to miss! (Here)

Books are great for younger children, and this site features fun, educational stories that are easy to understand, and that the child can color their selves if they want for added fun! There are also holiday themed stories, religious stories, and just plain fun stories too! (Here)

A fun game is always welcome, especially if you have a holiday car trip coming up, and this classic, printable version of Battleship is fun and easy! Just print off a few extra "games" and your set! (Here)

For the little one who loves dollhouses, this is sure to please (although you may have to make some of these ahead of time, depending on your child's skill level) there is printable wall paper, groceries, gifts, magazines, toys and more! Some of these are so charming, it's hard to believe it's just paper! (Here)
