This Kriya consists of sucking the water in to your large intestine through anus and then throwing it out, thus cleansing all your body internals. There are two different ways to perform this exercise. The first one comprises of standing in navel deep water or sitting in the knee-deep water on your legs. Insert a rubber tube of around half an inch diameter or a thin bamboo piece in to your rectum very slowly, after applying some kind of suitable lubrication on it. Now, suck in the water to your large intestine by pulling your stomach area inside, while breathing in, by doing Udiyar bandha, which can be done by touching your chin to the pit of your neck. Then, try to shake your abdominal area as much as possible for around five minutes or so. And then, finally, throw the water out in the toilet.
The more common and effective second technique to perform this exercise is through enema. The procedure of taking enema is simple. Fill in some salted water in to the enema pot. Some lemon juice can also be added in to it. Then, keep the pot to some elevated position. Initially, take out some water from the enema pot nozzle to remove any air entrapped inside. Please apply some type of lubrication to the tube and slowly, insert the nozzle in to your rectum for around one and a half inch length. Lie down on your left side and open the water flow. Start taking deep breath so that water will start entering in the large intestine. Around half a liter of water may be sucked inside your large intestine. Rotate your belly and change the position from left to right. Stay in this position for around 10 to 15 minutes. Then, go to the toilet to remove the dirty water from your large intestine. One very important aspect while doing this procedure is that it should be done with completely empty stomach. One can have light breakfast after around half an hour of doing this exercise.
This exercise cleans the stomach, and all the digestive organs like large intestines and the small intestines. The large intestine is washed thoroughly and would gain its flexibility, which is slightly lost over so many years. Large intestines become strong, thus increasing your appetite. It gives mental peace and a feeling of lightness comes in your body. The body feels like full of energy, active, and one will not get tired soon. The healthy persons can perform this exercise once in a month. The persons, who have undergone a major surgery for any of the digestive organs, must perform this exercise after consultation with the family doctor and in close supervision of a Yoga guru. I have been doing this exercise regularly every couple of months and have gained lots of benefits in terms of health and fitness.
I consider the health and fitness benefits more valuable than millions of dollars as it would give us all the most vital aspect of full physical fitness. If any of my readers have any doubts on this, they are free to contact me.
