First, one of the best ways to deal with worries is to develop a unique mindset that states, "Whatever happens happens." Basically, there's no changing the past or what's going to happen, so why worry about it? One must be able to accept the realities of life and try their best not to worry so much. Remaining optimistic when faced with challenges in life personifies this mindset.
Practical and simple ways to deal with your worries may include treating yourself to your favorite foods such as desserts. This is a cheap fix to your worries but effective nonetheless. In addition you could listen to positive, upbeat music such as Bob Marley. Exercise is another great way to help take your mind off of your problems. When you exercise your body releases endorphins that naturally makes you feel good. You can double the effectiveness of this technique by playing a sport you love. I personally like to play basketball because it takes my mind off of everything.
Your friends and family can be great help when dealing with stress. Go out and have a couple of drinks with friends. You don't necessarily have to tell them what it is that's worrying you, but just have a little fun. No one can make you laugh harder than close friends. Or you may tell a family member of your problems to help ease your worries. The people closest to you will definitely be able to ease your worries
Finally, the best way to alleviate your worries and stress is to simply solve your problems if possible. Sitting there and worrying is pointless. This all depends on the situation but if you are able to solve what you are worrying about, then by all means fix it.
In summation, one must realize that life isn't always going to be easy and stress-free. Problems are going to come up and always at the wrong times it seems. But when they do, first focus on solving the problems, then in the meantime try some or all of these practices and see which ones work best for you!
