Prayer to the Eagle Spirit

Eagle Spirit guide us,
soar us through
wing-tipped clouds,
dappled sunlight
in ancient eyes
beacons to prey;
call upon us to thrive,
strive to reach the heights
you grace;
your epiphany
a symphony of wings
and heartbeats
and souls.

Eagle Spirit protect us from our foes
unite us with our allies,
provide us wisdom to know
one from the other,
and courage to act upon the knowledge;
accompany us
as we traverse
this hallowed earth,
humbly following the path
of your flight.

Eagle Spirit
reside within me
that I may ascend with you.
