Gray Hill Church of God is my family. My church family has been there for me for over 15 years. They have seen me grow up, get married, have children and raise them. Every aspect of my life has had them involved in it. Back in 2005 when my brother passed away and then less then a year later when the good Lord called on my dad, my church family was there for me and my family. Any minute of every hour, every hour of every day I could call upon my brothers and sisters in the church for any need I would have. If it was someone just to talk to, they would be there. If there was something I would need, they would go out of their way to make it happen. Prayers were sent out by them all the time and during those trying times all their love and compassion got us through the difficulties we were facing. Even to this day if I need anything I know each one of my church family members will be there to help with no questions asked. That is what I love about my church. We are truly connected in a way that we are always there for anyone of us. Now, another member of our church is facing difficult times and I am doing my part in helping to get the word out on the things that we would like to get done.
Larry Moore, Ziggy, is this loving man in our church. He has been apart of my church life as far as I can remember. He is in extreme need of a liver transplant and our church is trying any reasonable measure to make sure this happens. I am sure you know how enormous a transplant can be and then the ever going costs in medications and treatments even after the transplant occurs. Financially wise no man is able to ever fully afford this life situation. That is where our church has stepped in. If you are a member of Facebook I asked you with all my heart to please go to http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=101296463244574&ref=nf&v=info#!/group.php?v=wall&ref=nf&gid=101296463244574 to join our churches cause in helping Ziggy and his amazing family face this difficult time in their lives. On the site you will find all information pertaining to events going on in our area for fund raising efforts for Ziggy and also check back often for ways you can help even if you can not attend these events. If financially you can not do anything we understand completely, however we do ask you that pray for this man and his family as often as you can because the power of prayer is far more powerful then anything in the world. God will hear his children and he will make miracles happen!
Thank you so much for your time, understanding and cooperation. God loves you and blesses you for everything you do in your life!
