Prayers for Lonnette's Mother

"I just pray that God will put angels around her so that she doesn't fall again." These are the words of a caring and loving daughter. These words are so full of sadness and adoration; they are so heartfelt and beautiful. These words inspired me to write an article asking AC writers and readers to join me in saying a special prayer for an AC member, Lonnette and her mother.

Earlier this month, I read a very touching, emotional, heartfelt and lovely article written by Lonnette. Her mother had broken her right foot and her left leg. Her mother's pain and injuries was causing Lonnette a lot of physical and emotional pain, sorrow and despair.

You know how hard it gets when a loved one is sick or injured and we feel so helpless, because there isn't much we can do to ease the pain and suffering of our loved one. Lonnette was feeling this kind of devastation and helplessness. Her heart was broken.

Lonnette's mother was in rehab. She was just finishing up her rehab so she could go home. She was ready to return home, but it didn't happen. Lonnette's mother slipped fell and broke her hip. She had to under-go hip surgery. She suffered a lot of pain after the surgery. Lonette said her mother is doing better now. But, she has gone through so much; a broken foot, a broken leg and now a broken hip and hip sugery. This must be so overwhelming and heartbreaking for the whole family.

I want to ask everyone who reads this article to join me in saying a prayer for Lonnette and her mother. One of my prayer is the same as Lonnette's, the words that inspired me to write this article. "I just pray that God will put angels around her so that she doesn't fall again."
